The Brand
XAutomotive is well known for its tuning software, especially for BMW vehicles. The software allows for the individual adjustment and optimisation of engine parameters, as well as reprogramming of the engine control unit. As part of the project, we were responsible for creating short pieces of content for social media platforms focusing on the tuning aspects of XAutomotive and vehicle performance enhancement.
A challenging shoot
The shoot was an exciting challenge. The trick was to capture the dynamics and subtle nuances of the XAutomotive tuning in the midst of Linz city life. The biggest challenge was to find the perfect balance between showcasing the BMW M4 and integrating the performance upgrade. Switching between scenes with different lighting conditions and focusing on the subtleties of the car required precise planning and coordination. We had to ensure that every detail of the performance enhancements was visible in the presentation of the car, while maintaining the aesthetic beauty of the environment.
Stunning locations
We shot a spectacular film in Linz, Austria, against the stunning backdrop of the Lentos Art Museum. The centrepiece was a BMW M4, which we filmed to showcase the increased performance and driving experience provided by the XAutomotive tuning software. The architectural beauty of the Lento provided the perfect backdrop for shots that captured the power and dynamics of the car. The location complemented the aesthetics of the BMW M4 and gave the shots a special atmosphere that highlighted the unique tuning aspects and performance of the car.
Conclusion
Filming with XAutomotive was a great experience. We had a lot of fun shooting content that showcased the unique tuning aspects of their software. The post-production was just as exciting as the filming itself. It was great to see the cars’ performance upgrades come to life. Working together, we were able to capture and edit some fascinating insights into car tuning – a job that was not only exciting, but also full of fun and enthusiasm.
