The Brand
Every day, Bergwelten magazine opens up new and fascinating chapters in the world of mountains. Both online and offline, it presents everything a mountain lover’s heart desires. As part of the mountain sports content creation project, we were able to create several Bergwelten content blocks. These are short films about freeriding/ski touring and summer themes such as hiking and mountaineering.
The projects
We have produced several short blocks of content for Bergwelten. The video series includes tips and instructions on the topics of ski touring/freeriding and hiking. As we have a soft spot for outdoor sports, we were able to empathise with the audience and plan the content accordingly. Once the themes were approved, we went into production and then post-production. The main focus of the production was to provide entertaining information. Over the course of several exciting content creation days, we were able to capture breathtaking locations across Austria.
The videos were designed to be approximately 60 seconds long. An eye-catching hook was used to grab the viewer’s attention. The content ranged from ski touring techniques, safety in the snow, tours with dogs, route planning and freeride tips. Each video ends with a call to action.
Events / live stories
We were at the Bergwelten Testival on the Kitzsteinhorn, where you could test the latest ski touring equipment and form an opinion before you buy. There was also an on-snow safety training session, which was very well received by the participants. We accompanied the participants on their tests and tours and broadcast everything live so that viewers at home could follow along.
conclusion
The collaboration with Bergwelten/Redbull Media House was very pleasant and we put together an extraordinary production that is well worth seeing. The result is exactly what we set out to achieve. With over 100,000 views, the videos inform viewers about everything to do with freeriding. We look forward to continuing our relationship.
